Spring Conservation Hunts
Our Spring Conservation Hunts offer some of the most action-packed waterfowl hunting opportunities of the year. We run hunts in both Arkansas and South Dakota, strategically timed and located to align with peak snow goose migrations.
Afternoon Conservation Hunts
We offer two distinct hunting styles designed to capitalize on bird movement and field conditions.
1. Feed Field Hunts
These hunts are conducted on daily-scouted fields, where we either target active feeds or run traffic on birds traveling to nearby feeding areas.
- Schedule: Mornings only, from 30 minutes before sunrise until approximately 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Afternoon hunts may be added based on weather and guide discretion.)
- Setup: We run spreads of 500-1,500 full bodies or socks, equipped with e-callers and motion decoys!
2. Migrator Spread Hunts
This option features large-scale setups placed in one of our three migration Routes targeting geese pushing north out of Louisiana and southern Arkansas.
- Schedule: Hunts begin 30 minutes before sunrise until noon, then resume from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the afternoon flight.
- Setup: Massive spreads of socks or full bodies designed for high-volume migratory traffic.
South Dakota Conservation Hunts
Our South Dakota hunts take place in the northeastern part of the state, where we've been successfully running migrator hunts since the early 2000s.
We deploy large spreads of socks or full bodies in proven migration corridors, ensuring hunters are positioned directly in the path of traveling snow geese.
